Happy again!

Well after talking to Chris on Friday night, and explaining to him how I was feeling!! (he also read this as well!) I'm feeling SOOOO much better. I went to the races yesterday with my dad, it was fun, although had a bit of a mare in the morning, as I had arranged to meet my dad at my in-laws at 10am, but when I phoned my parents just gone 9am to say that I was leaving my flat my mum said that my dad had already left and should be there!!! Agghhh! So I then raced round the M25 doing nearly 100mph!!!! and got there just before 10. So I then quickly changed into my dress. (as I had already done my hair & make up!) and my dad met me and off we went! Then the next hitch! We got to Waterloo fine, but then I went to queue up for the train tickets. Now we were meant to get to the races for around lunch time. We got to Waterloo around 11.20 so I thought we had time to get the tickets and get the train at 11.42!! BIG mistake 40 minutes in the queue later, we got the ticket and got on a train at 12.05!!!!! Then once on the train we discovered we could have bought the tickets on the train!!!!!! Anyway, I won just over £20 which was not bad!! The food wasn't brilliant and even though there was loads of drink available I didn't drink alot as I didn't want to embarrass myself or my dad!!

Anyway I went back to my in-laws, and stayed over. Oh I spoke to Chris!!! well, he was still drunk from Friday night!!!! He will probably talk about it in his blog at a later date!!

Any way today I decided to go shopping in Romford as I don't get there very often now being over in Watford!! My main aim was to get some work shoes & boots for winter!!

Got the shoes straight away, only £10 down from £35!! and they are leather!!

Then wandered around going in and out of shops. Bought myself a pair of pink leahter goves from M&S for £15!! they are SOOO nice and soft!!!

Then went to QD's one of my fav shops from Clacton! Got a new turbie towel, for £1.

Then I was feeling tired so headed back to the in-laws!

I then had a nap for about 1/2 hour!! Then decided to tackle food shopping as I had very little food in!!

So off Iwent to the big Sainsburys near Walthamstow Dogs, as I thought I may see some boots in there!! And yes I did for £35!! not too bad, got all my shopping! £95 later!! (-£35 for my boots!) well anyway I was sure I had some nectar rewards I could use, but the girl at the check out said I didn't, so puzzled I packed my shopping up and came back to the in-laws for sunday lunch!! When I got back I checked my nectar account online and I did have some rewards that I could have used. But as my mum-in-law said "computer said no!"

Oh just nipped away to have a sip of champers and watch Mr Darcy (P&P Colin Firth) stip off and swim through the lake.

Back on track... Had a lovely dinner roast dinner!! then my father-in-law opend the ole bubbly!! and well put a nice stop to driving home!!

Which is sort of nice 'cause I would of only ended up doing housework etc, and mopping around!!

Clacton-on-Sea

Well, just got back from a weekend in Clacton-on-Sea, visiting Shaun, Jo & James, (Chris's Uncle & Aunt) with Colin & Doretta (Chris's parents).

I also poped in on my Uncle & Aunt, who I haven't seen for around 15 years as my dad is rubbish at keeping in touch with his family.

I have done lots of shopping, in my favourite cheap shops(chav shop's as Chris would say!)

Then I got back yesterday eveing to discover water on the floor of the bathroom!! The flat upstairs bath is leaking I have since discovered, so she is getting a plumber out asap to sort it as I don't want my bathroom celling falling down, especially as Chris friend Brian is coming to stay on Wednesday for a couple of days while they go and watch the cricket!!

Oh, not happy as well, I took my car to work on Friday (which I don't do that often) and ended up with a £50 parking fine for being 4 minutes too late to renew my ticket!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway I have to go as I need to pop round to Tesco's to get an onion for dinner for Wednesday (I'm cooking it tomorrow!!)

Happy Anniversary

Well as the 'ole hubby has done one of these thingys, I might as well.

Today is our wedding anniversary. 2 whole years (+ the 10 we were going out before hand!)

And being the wonderfully husband he is, he sent floweres to my work, as he is in Canada on business at the moment. Which made me blush big time!!!!!!!!!

and got his best mate to drop a card round.
